Does anyone actually read these besides me??

I thought about tearing this down and starting over. Instead I decided to add to it. After being here for awhile I have come to realize a few things. I am not looking for a turn-key relationship. It doesn't work that way. Looking for my best friend. It all comes down to that... doesn't it? Here goes... I like learning new things. The learning process is what thrills me. These things tend to be of a creative nature. I am a drummer and play off and on within the local music scene. Music is a huge part of my life, both playing and listening. I guess that you could also say that conversation can be a passion for me. But not with just anyone. I can be quiet too. I love to cook and can do more than hold my own in the kitchen and at the grill. I love BBQ and have developed my own style utilizing the more traditional methods of charcuterie. I tend to have a pretty warped sense of humor. I wear many hats. I have worked as a Computer Technician. Mason. Carpenter. If I don't know how to do something I will figure it out. I am also a history junkie and trivia nut. I tend to remember facts easily. Not necessarily dates, but HP and Torque ratings, displacement... technical data. I am not a geek, though. Never have been. I am usually the one leading the group left of center.






As stated... I tend to have a pretty whack sense of humor and enjoy conversation to a level of it's own. Mixing the two is even more fun. I don't drink very often as it tends to give me headaches, so I can be counted on as the designated driver. It has become my role in life. I have been trying to find a local band. Untill then I have been working with a group of local musicians. Music is a huge thing to me. It always has been. I listen to a very broad spectrum of styles and I don't just listen, I tend to dissect. I need someone who has a similar interest in music... I need to be able to share this aspect. I love lyrics and tend to write alot of poetry. I want to find someone fiesty. I like high energy. Shake it up!

Cooking is my other passion. I love to cook and am pretty well armed for that task. I can handle just about anything thrown at me in the kitchen as I now have a Culinary Degree from Le Cordon Bleu.

Above all family is important. I tend to keep my children rather private untill I know that the comfort level is something that will allow the scope. Every situation is different. I will say that my son is going on 11 and my daughter is an adult.

I am an open book. What you see is what you get. I'm done with the materialistic end of things. So if you want someone who is going to go after boats and toys. That ain't me. I'm moving into a creative phase. With me that can lead anywhere. No more limitations.

I am always still learning. Life as a journey is about finding happiness. Finding it for yourself. Then finding the right person to share it with... The one who can also share theirs and not have them conflict. The passions we have in life are gifts never to be smothered or taken for granted.

Is there anybody real out there anymore??? Anyone who understands the variables involved with having a relationship???

I am not particularily shy... but I so love it when a woman makes first contact.

Conversation, a nice meal and a bonfire? Weather permitting. Above all a night focussed on getting to know one another.
