Ok, took a bit of a break but I am back on this site (like most people here I am sure I'm not the only one hoping to find someone who will enable me to say goodbye to dating sites for good!)

What I am most looking for here is someone to connect with, to be a partner. You know that feeling you get when you are with someone who just gets you? You don't always need to talk, you can be anywhere doing anything and just being with that person is comfortable... like your favorite pair of jeans! When the connection is there it doesn't matter if you have similar hobbies or taste in music. I am not looking for perfection since I am not perfect myself, but rather for someone who wants the same depth and connection. Taking the time to discover that connection with the right person is my goal. I am not interested in serial dating or casual sexual encounters, just something real and wonderful!

I am a very physical person (meaning I like to do things) Recently moved to an apartment after years of farm living so I am a low maintenance kind of girl, don't fuss too much over hair & makeup, most of my shoes are boots or something I have worn in a barn! I appreciate nature, raising your own food, good home cooking (winter is awesome for comfort foods) I have dated different types and while I don't have a "type" I tend to most appreciate a man who is not afraid of physical work and seem to have had the best relationships with blue collar guys! I am independant & self-sufficient but surprisingly old fashioned in my values. You can still dress me up & take me out, but at heart I like simple quiet moments together.

If you can imagine that person who makes you smile every day even when they are not right in front of you - who inspires you to be a better person, and you have a sense of romance & fun, maybe we should talk? I am pretty open, have a sarcastic sense of humor I inheirited from my Brittish mother, and if you can enjoy a little verbal banter that is all the better! Every day is precious and made that much better with the right person by your side.

First date could be anything from a cup of coffee/tea informally or more if we connect well! I am open to different things!
