Lately I haven't had much luck with relationships. I always end up getting hurt. I was okay with that for a while, but now... I guess I'm looking for something more out of life. I haven't been very lucky in the friend department either. I pretty much spend my days cleaning. I'm in a rut and am just looking for something new. I wish I could find someone out there that I really connect with; somebody that I have things in common with.

This is where I'm suppose to talk about myself... something I'm not especially good at. Bare with me. I'm hoping to start college soon as an education major. I've always wanted to be a teacher. School was never much fun for me growing up. I never really felt like I fit in and I just hated the whole idea of going to class. I want to be a teacher so I can change that for other kids. I want them to have a better experience in school than the one I had.

Other than that, I enjoy writing. People always tell me I have a talent for it. Most often I write dramatic stuff; short stories for example with a soap opera type feel. I love creating characters and putting them into complex,twisting stories. Exploring thier overly dramatic lives takes me out of my own dreary one, I guess.

I have an interest in the Japanese culture; television especially. I'm a huge fan of a show called "Super Sentai". It is meant to be a children's show, but the story material tends to be much darker and more mature themed than that of U.S. kids' shows.

Speaking of TV, I watch a little too much of it. There isn't much else for me to do around here. I love Soap Operas (ABC). I like quite a few sitcoms, my favorite being "According To Jim". I'm also hooked on "Dancing With The Stars".

I run websites in my spare time. Probably not very interesting, but its fun for me.

As for music, I'm into Country mostly. I grew up on it and I guess it just stuck with me. I like most artists in the genre, but my favorite is Lee Ann Womack. She's got this classic style that I love. She's not one who's trying to turn into a Pop star. Lee Ann doesn't seem like one who'll just blindly follow the crowd and I admire that.

I really enjoy intelligent conversations and debating issues. I like people with strong opinions who aren't afraid to express them. The way I see it, if you're thinking something, say it. Life's too short to keep things inside. I've been told I have an opinion on everything under the sun.... and there's probably some truth to that.

I think a first date should be about getting to know the person you're with. A long walk would be nice, giving us a chance to talk. If that goes well, who knows? I'm open to pretty much anything. I don't like clubs much, but something calm like seeing a movie or something like that. I know its kind of overdone, but it can still make for a nice evening.
