I want to hold hands at movies and share popcorn. I want to lay in bed at night snuggling and sharing our deepest secrets with each other. I want to fall asleep so entwined with my partner that I cannot distinguish which limbs are his and which are mine. I want to escape for the weekend to a cabin in the mountains or a house at the beach. I want to watch movies on a rainy Sunday and fall asleep nestled in each others arms next to a crackling fire while the rain pounds on the roof. I want him to walk up behind me when I'm busy doing something, feel him put his arms around me and kiss my neck softly, then lean back into him, just to get a little closer and feel his soul touch mine. I want to meet my best friend and fall in love with him and wake up with him next to me for the rest of my life. Am I asking too much??? I don't think so. Are you this man of my dreams? First we meet somewhere where we can talk and really get to know each other. If I know this is going nowhere, I stick it out, remain polite, and part as friends. If I think it is going somewhere, I really get excited inside. Some of that excitement shows but I really try not to let all of it show. What if he doesn't like me????? That's ridiculous. He will.
