About Me
Update: I've survived my trip to Peru without getting sacrificed to the old Incan gods or to the mosquitoes at Machu Pichuu. That is not to say the trip was without it's challenges. It was not a smooth trip but I would do it all over again. I love "adventurecations". Peru is filled with unbelievable natural beauty, soaring mountains, deep lush valleys, ancient ruins, European architecture and sadly an terrible amount of poverty too. I hope I helped feed a few people during my visit. By the way, if you ever go to Machu Pichuu take a pancho and mosquito repellent. The mosquitoes are horrible and it rains almost daily. Well, on to my profile.

I'm a southern gentleman who is well educated, adventurous, and looking to find a lady with whom I can have fun and share adventures. I am tall, dark haired and well built. Sometimes, I have a goatee. You may find my sense of humor has a bite. It can be a bit sarcastic at times, especially after a few beers, but I'm good-natured for the most part and usually funny. I am stable and laid back. If I'm mad there is usually a good reason. I know who I am and I am comfortable with myself. As for my work, I am a pharmacist and supervisor at a Medical Emergency Call Center. I spend my work days saving children and overdose patients. It is a great job that gives a lot back to this world. I am thankful to be able to make a difference in so many lives. My work place and the place I call home are in two different cities. I live in Rock Hill and work in Columbia. I used to commute but recently purchased a small place in Columbia. I guess you can say I live in both cities.
I'm looking for ...
I imagine that I'm looking for the same as most people, a great friend, trustworthy confidant, maybe even a soul mate in time. Someone that has similar interests to me with a great chemistry between us. I realize everyone is high maintenance in one way or another. What I mean is that relationships require work. That everyone, myself included, has peculiarities that are going to annoy someone else given enough time. There are always detractors and compromises in this life but at the end of the day having a good relationship with the right person is worth a little annoyance here and there. An easy going even temperament would be nice. Passion=good. Drama=bad. Someone that is basically happy, smiles often, looks to the positive, and thinks my jokes are funny. Yes, I know that some of them are not, be gentle. Leaning a bit toward toward athletic and adventuresome would be a good thing.
The most important thing in my life is ...
My work ranks high in my life. However, I will drop everything to help a friend or family member in need. In the end, these people are what matters the most.
I spend my free time ...
I love outdoorsy stuff boating, bicycling, hiking, and photography. I will pester you with a camera! I like to be out doing things not sitting at home. Though, that could change if I found the right homebody to hang out with. So, I do play hard when I get the chance. Over the last few years, I have developed a taste for world travel. I went to Japan in October 2005. It was a great trip. The Japanese are a kind and generous people. Among other things they all thought I was much younger than I am. I may just have to move there(Ha Ha)! I felt more welcome in Japan than anywhere I have been yet. I saw many beautiful places, made a few friends, and ate far too many strange things. I really don't like fish for breakfast. Raw squid is horrible. Horse meat wasn't too bad, though. It would be nice to have someone to travel with me someday. I still have a lot of adventuresome boy in me. PLEASE, have a picture on your profile if you contact me, thanks.

First Date
I usually go for classics like a quiet meal, a picnic, a walk, or something similar. Then we can actually talk and discover if there is any chemistry.
