Attempt #2 at writing a description! Now with 100% more input!

For starters, I'm kind of a geek. It probably doesn’t help that I work with computers, am a middle child, and grew-up in farm country.

I don’t work 9-5...lot of alternating shifts...part of me likes it, part of me hates it. That, and the fact that I work mainly with guys, has made it difficult to get out and meet new people. I’m not really into the bar/club scene anyway, so I thought I’d give this a try. My friends say that I’m a “man of few words”, and I usually take a little while to open up...

I like watching cartoons, movies, and short films (then again, who doesn’t?), and definitely prefer subtitles over dubbing.

In regards to me being a geek, don’t let that scare you off. I’m not into Star Wars (I’ll instantly hate you if you do...well, not hate, but I’ll say that I do), or ‘WoW’ (pretend that you don’t know what this is if you do know, and if you don’t know at all even better). I can talk math, physics, theology, etymology, and almost anything to do with anything you plug into the wall or that uses a battery...but, don’t worry I can talk about other stuff too.

Lastly, in all honesty I'm not on here looking to get laid. (Weird, isn’t it?!?) It would be nice to find someone to go skiing/snowboarding with in the winter, or join in other sporting activities. I've recently taken up rock climbing but I like (or will try) most sports. Going for coffee probably isn’t the best, since like I said I’m sort of shy (that and I don’t drink coffee), or a movie since we won’t really learn anything about each other. If something happens, so be it. If not, meh. It never hurts to make friends.
