I'm really new to dating again but have decided to just go for it. So here goes...

I'm absolutely looking for my intellectual equal. It's important to me that we be able to communicate with each other on a higher level. I'm looking for manly kindness, someone who wouldn't think twice about helping someone push their stalled car out of an intersection.
I have lots of hobbies that I enjoy; walking my dogasaurus at parks, reading, learning little diddies on the piano, writing, going out with friends, trying new restaurants or experimenting in my own kitchen, live theatre, movies, the RSO and all kinds of live music events...

I enjoy my life with my two great kids and I love to travel whenever I can. Most recently I was in London, Wales and Paris, last year the South of Spain and an airport in Frankfurt!

I like to ski (am originally from Vancouver) and ice skate in the wintertime and roll around in the snow building forts (where's the snow?!?). It would be nice to have someone to sip hot chocolate with and make steam on the windows...(from the hot chocolate of course!)

What makes me unique is that I can roll with it. I've been to the show, got the t-shirt and live every day like it's a gift. I appreciate the beauty in so many things and want to make the world a brighter place...don't you?

My music selection is so ecclectic that maybe I should just list what's currently in my carosel: Jeff Straker, Melissa McLelland, Jann Tiersen, a mixed disk with A-Ha, Bonnie Rait, the Ramones, Beatles, Air,and other oddly paired selections, Badly Drawn Boy, Crazy Frog (yes, that one's the kids) Weezer, and I love listening to Rich Turfry on the CBC drive home (commercial free!)

I'm looking for someone that lives relatively close to me, but if you think that we need to communicate, then go for it, wherever in the world you may be from...who knows? Also, I'm totally NOT interested in dating a smoker, sorry. If you feel compelled to lie in your profile in any way or post a picture of yourself that isn't actually you, please don't bother contacting me! I swear I've got lie-dar.

I like to go to places like the Globe, Bushwacker's, McNally's,the library, the Mackenzie Gallery, RS Museum, Science Ctr climbing wall the city's stand out restaurants and live venues. A first date should be memorable, but before we do a date, we ought to do a prelim coffee/walk to see if we want to spend more time together. My time is semi-precious as I'm sure yours is too.
