Aloha!

In the summer (my favorite season) I can be found at a state park hiking or kayaking, in the evenings I enjoy going downtown to walk Teddy Bear, my "little" Pomeranian, on the Canal Walk. In the winter, I turn into more of a homebody as I really dislike the cold weather.

My favorite TV shows are Family Guy, The Simpsons, HOUSE, Lie to Me, and Scrubs. Although, I am not much of a TV watcher...

When it comes to movies I am open to anything...Horror is my least favorite genre. Comedy, the occasional chick-flick and yes, I love kid movies.

I serve as a Meeting and Convention Planner with an international nursing association and teach part-time at a local university. My career has been a huge focus in my life. It helps me fulfill one of my passions in life, which is to travel. While I travel mostly in mainland U.S. for my job, I have been to Singapore, Asia, Mexico and Canada for the conferences I plan. Next, I am headed to Hawaii at the end of January (rough, I know)!

Dreams and goals, I have to say career-wise I am doing very well, I do pretty much exactly what I have always wanted to do. In five or ten years, I am wanting to move into a higher education. Other goals, a family is right up there, wife..kids..got the white picket fence and dog taken care of...haha... I come from a family of pilots, so getting my private pilots license is on my list as well!

I am just me, one of the crowd, but then again unlike any other person you will ever meet! :-)

I have always liked the idea of a lunch date, you have a set amount of time with the person...that way if either one wants to get away, they can in 60 minutes or less! If it is an evening date, a walk on the canal downtown is always a nice way to stroll and get to know one another...
