If nice guys finish last then I'll happily take my last place ribbon. Better to finish last than compromise your integrity and character by being somebody you are not.

I am an established professional looking for a woman who knows how valuable and special she is and will not settle for anything but the best for herself. Physical attraction is important but not nearly as much as what is in a womans heart. I have a soft spot in my heart for children. I'm a romantic at heart and those who know me best would call me a big softie.

I graduated University in 2002. I work for Toronto EMS. It is very rewarding and challenging. I usually spend my spare time reading, with friends, exercising or just kicking back and relaxing. I have a passion for the renovation industry and have been known to buy tools so I can help friends with their projects. I'm not a bar regular. My idea of a great time is simply spending it with people I care about, no matter what the activity is. I've been practicing martial arts since I was 12 and have a couple of black belts. I completed my Masters degree in June 08 and in the near future I'll be studying foreign languages. The thought of going for my doctorate has crossed my mind a few times, but at this point I'm just not sure. I'd love to find that special somebody that makes life even more enjoyable. I have a fairly large collection of movies and books.

If you are looking for somebody who is obsessed with money and material things then I am not the right person for you. I chose my line of work to help people for a living. I want to be able to provide a good life for myself and my family. I find women who are successful in life (not talking financially) very attractive. I see success as having a job you enjoy, being happy with your life, and wanting to share that joy with another person. I am a sucker for a big smile. I don't play games and hate when they are played with me. I'm genuinely looking for that special somebody. Those who have the attitude, "I say what's on my mind because that's the way I am, and don't care who I offend or hurt in the process".... we will never get along. I'm not like that and don't think that's an admirable quality. Trust and loyalty are extremely important to me. I know what it feels like to be cheated on, it's a horrible feeling I wouldn't wish on anybody. I don't get jealous and am pretty secure in who I am. I'm pretty much an open book, as I've learned that life is too difficult when you live with secrets, and hopefully I can find the same type of person. I can't say that I have an "ideal" person. Somebody who is fun to be with. The type of person that I can talk for hours on end with, and never get bored. Hopefully we can have a few common interests.

Hard to say. I guess it'd have to depend on the person. I'm not a big fan of movies on a first date. Nothing wrong with them but I'd rather talk to a person than stare at a screen for two hours. Something casual that doesn't feel like a date is always good. I'm up for anything from mini-putting, the Zoo, or just having a drink at Jack Astors. Of course those are only my ideas, I'm always up for something new.
