My life has been on hold too long. I really need to have some fun but don't know where to start.
It's been a long time since I've dated and I don't think I understand this way of meeting people. I think it's strange when men write to me and give me their phone number in the first email. Is this common?

I've been on this site for about a year. Some of you have said that I don't have enough information about what I do and don't like. I like food and dislike wine. I like dogs and cats but dislike pet birds and rodents of any kind. I don't ski...snow or water and never will. Yes I said never!! I like short hikes but nothing too strenuous. I love picnics on the beach or in the woods. I hate modern horror movies. They're not horror, just disgusting! I don't like bullies, mean people, rude people, liars, cheaters or thieves!! That eliminates a lot of people!! I don't tolerate drugs or smoking. If you drink a lot, don't lie and say you're a social drinker. You're probably an alcoholic so do something about it. I don't want your problems. I don't want to date a cheater. If you're just separated, come back after you've been divorced for a year. I don't want to date a gay man, or one who is bisexual or bi-curious, or one who enjoys "looking at" trannies or CD's or t-gurls, or whatever you want to call them. I like men who like women, real women not fakes or re-makes!! LOL Most of all I like honesty!

We could go somewhere quiet, but in a public place and get to know each other.
