I'm a balance of many things and still discovering more. Analytical, romantic, spontaneous, philosophical. Spiritual but not "religious", I believe all the wisdom traditions guide us up the same mountain. Sometimes take life too seriously, sometimes not seriously enough. Often both at the same time! When the balance swings one way or the other the Universe seems to apply correction before it gets too extreme. Best summed up as openness to discovering - not hung up with clinging to what I "know".

Into nothing too crazy (unless you consider motorcycles, canoeing, camping & hiking, rock concerts, Broadway shows, dancing (for fun - not profit LOL), drinking just a ~wee bit~ occasionally %-), riding roller coasters, travel to third-world countries once in a while ... ) Well ok, maybe just a little crazy. You might be too. But mostly my life is pretty average except for missing that "someone special". My ipod would have something for everyone ... from Aerosmith to Zen! I love All kinds of live concerts - rock, classical, soul, bluegrass, blues, jazz, (real) country ... even the Grand Ole Opry every few decades. I was a DJ in a previous era - best job I ever had. My career as a technology professional is pretty demanding and important to me and I have time for life too. It's a fair guess that anything I don't already do, I'd like to learn.

I am ultimately looking for one special partner to balance and fill each others lives. Each of us strong alone yet being better together. I recognize needs that can only be met with another. Still discovering how to arrive there. Life is the journey, not the destination. Meeting some good friends in the process is an added bonus.

We'll know. I wouldn't ruin the spontaneity.

Probably not a first date - a motorcycle ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway. That's a ~real~ roller coaster ride!

I'm not a great dancer but I'm the father of one. I do ok ... I'd like to find somebody to become greater with!

Oh ... I guess I am going past the first date. Well - We will make our own rules anyway.
