So I’m putting out the beacon. Yes, I’m single. Yes, I’m looking. Yes, I’m happy.

I am someone that is driven and knows what he wants; I just have not found it (or her) yet. I really live my life with 110% put forth. But I tend to not invest as much energy if it is just for my pleasure. If someone else will reap the benefits, however, I will always expend the maximum effort. I love seeing the smile I can put on peoples’ faces and the joy that a simple thoughtful act can bring. I have been with someone who only put in 70% to everything and honestly, it dragged me down. Therefore I now want someone that can appreciate the effort, understand it, and want the most out his life. What is the point if you don’t?
I have lived in Southwest Ohio all my life. But don’t let that fool you, I love to travel and have many destinations I wish to visit, hopefully with a special someone to share the experience. I’ve spent the last several years being there for my kids who live with me full time. However, they are about to graduate school, are out in the job world and spending more time out of the house than in, so I’ve began re-focusing my attention to myself.

I love my job…most days. I adore hanging out with friends, and value my family very much. Tough workouts get me going. I would rather be hot than cold any day of the week. I make an effort to surround myself with good people, good food, and good wine (would love to tour California wine country as my interest extends to learning about it as well as savoring it). I am honest, loyal, and caring every day –comical, gentle, and sweet almost every day!

But enough about me! I would love to find someone with whom I can share quiet nights in, or crazy nights out. Someone who knows when to make me laugh and when to put me in my place. Someone who also likes to travel and explore what the world has to offer. Someone with ambition. Someone who knows that living a happy lifestyle helps you get more out of life!

Basically, I'm seeking someone who will push me mentally and physically and watch HGTV with me. Yeah, that’s about right. Could it be you?
