Hey, there!... First,... let me just say that I was a little confused about which category to put myself in!... I wasn't sure which one of the
"I Am Looking For" categories I should choose because they all kind of overlap a little!... But, in any case, I chose the "friends" category because I think that's a good starting point for any relationship, whether it's platonic or otherwise!... OK, now that I got that off my chest,... let me tell you a little about myself and why I'm on here!...
I moved up here from Southern California a couple of years ago!... I'm an outgoing, spontaneous guy, that likes to have fun!... I plan for the future, but expect never to get there!... In other words, I live for the moment, but plan for retirement!... I live everyday as if it were my last, but if I happen to make it to tomorrow, I would hate to find myself "broke"!... It's my own spin on "Hope for the best, but expect the worst!"... I hate the thought of living for the weekend!... I like to think of my every day as a weekend!... That's probably why I chose an occupation where I'm involved with sports (both playing and working with them)!...
I love music! All kinds of music!... But, especially, dance/NRG, alternative rock/rock, and classical!... But, not just listening to it! I love to make and arrange my own music! It's a hobby and passion of mine!... I like to watch
American Idol ( when they have some genuinely good talent)!... My niece keeps telling me to try out for it, but with my luck it'll be a season when they have the Kelly Clarkson's, David Cook's, David Archuleta's, and Adam Lambert's all in the same season!...
I also like to watch dance competitions!... But, not Celebrity Dance!... That's too lame and "lack-luster" for my taste!... I'm more into the
So You Think You Can Dance, and
America's Best Dance Crew kind of stuff!...
I like to travel! I don't care if it's a road trip to the next town. Or, a trip on a plane, train, or cruise ship to a different country!... I've traveled through most of the U.S., with a few exceptions! And, I've traveled to parts of Canada, Mexico, and Europe!... I also like going out to concerts, car shows, county fairs, state fairs, movies, clubs, etc.! Basically, anything that'll get me out of the house, count me in!!!... If I can get time off from work, you can always count on me as your faithful travel companion!...
I love summer-time in the valley! It reminds me of Southern California, only without the beach!... There's plenty of sun, during the day, to do all of your outdoor, day-time activities!... And, the nights are warm enough to do whatever you want to do outdoors!... Even do some night-time swimming!!!...
I'm looking to meet a girl that likes to have fun and has a great sense of humor!... Someone that would laugh at a good joke, and roll her eyes at my lame jokes, gently pat me on the back, and say," I know, Sweetie, you tried!"...
Someone that would take a road trip, with me, at the spur of the moment,... and is willing to pull my hair out of my face when I'm hunched over puking!... (LOL)
That last part was a joke!... My hair isn't that long!...
Actually, I've only been wasted twice in my life!... And, I'm not sure I want to go for three!...
Someone with whom I can have a conversation about a multitude of different topics, and not simply stare at me like "deer in headlights", when the topic doesn't include her friends (people I've never even met, and I have absolutely no clue as to who these people are)!...
Am I getting too picky?... Hm.
Hey, but who knows!... Worst case scenario, you may end up with a cool guy as your hang-out buddy!...
