I am a soldier in the Canadian forces, currently serving in Afghanistan.
As such I wont be home until next spring. only here for chat until then.

What I am...
I'm a nerd, I admit it. I like video games, family guy and a million other stupid shows.
I'm a hockey player. I like wearing my hockey sweater when i watch the game and yelling at the refs. I am the guy who jumps infront of the slapshot even when playing shinny hockey. A hockey bruise is a good bruise.
I'm a joker, I dance like an idiot when an good song pops on the radio and I'll make an ass of myself anytime I can get a full hearted laugh out of a friend.
I am writer, its my artistic output. I am emotionally moved by music and movies and one day hope to write the story that will paint a picture that makes its readers see a little of the world I fight for.
I'm a soldier. I serve in the Canadian armed forces because I believe there are millions of people around this world who can't defend themselves and have never known hope. I don't think any child should ever know fear before hope.

What I'm not...
I'm not the alpha male. I don't think that i need to be better then anyone. I don't talk trash and i don't bully people.
I'm not simple. I'm complicated and it can be tiring trying to balance me out when I get my heart ahead of my means. As much as I'd love to save the world i need to be reminded to breathe and be human.
I'm not perfect.

You are...
I don't really have a 'type' of girl I like. Each person has such wonderful qualities that shine about them that I learn to love THOSE qualities as I grow closer to them. Having said that I do have a weakness for red heads. Strong girls with sharp attitudes.

But above all its heart I am attracted to. I want the girl who will pull my arm to make sure I give a little change to a homeless person down on there luck. The girl who holds the door for the elderly folks leaving a Tim Horton's, after I held the door for her. You laugh and love and live and spark and you rock out to rock band with my friends.
You kiss, you tease you wrestle and you jump on my back if you ever think I've let my guard down.
