Just imagine...We could be chasing rainbows, sharing dreams, swapping massages, admiring sunsets, dining out, exploring weekends, making love, working out, doing a movie, entertaining friends, making a difference, giving and getting affection, planning tomorrows or discussing life. Instead, I'm writing personal ads and you're reading them. Shouldn't we meet and begin our tomorrows instead?

Ordinary, I'm not. But if upbeat, offbeat, caring, creative, considerate, active, poetic and adventurous appeals to you, we may just connect. I really like imagination, diversity, depth, sensuality, open communication, resourceful living and emotional connectedness. And I'd much rather blaze my own path than follow an easy, established one.

By nature I'm an active, outdoorsy, casual, very playful, child-at-heart trapped in a mature man's very healthy body. No, I'm not exceedingly brilliant, drop-dead gorgeous, super athletic, or filthy rich. But I am fairly bright, keenly aware, modestly good-looking, wonderfully fit, financially secure, blessed with an enthusiastic good humor as well as a perpetually upbeat outlook. Have a strong environmental awareness coupled with a belief in giving back to the community. Very responsible and compassionate. Got a great connection with my family and a few really close friends. Strive to lead a balanced life with a liberal, non-materialistic perspective. Have been told I'm a great listener and quite communicative. I may tease a bit but no BS here when it counts.

I'm quite comfortable with my own company but would prefer to share the adventure of life with another in a close, mutually supportive relationship. I value creativity, uncomplicated casual living, close friends, keen, creative minds, experience over possessions, substance over style and imagination over intellect. An open, adventurous heart coupled with a playful, healthy, caring spirit really gets my attention.

My current outdoor interests include sailing, hiking, RV camping, off road biking, canoeing, kayak touring, snorkeling, tennis, digital photography, skiing, weekend jaunts, exploring any body of water and working out. And I'd really love to explore the natural wonders and national parks of Canada and the US by RV. (Wanna' go?)

Indoors, I enjoy reading, being creative with my computer, snuggling, sharing dreams, preparing a (near) vegetarian candlelight dinner , exploring weekends, swapping massages, doing a movie or concert, visiting friends, quiet talk, (and animated conversation!), any kind of puppy, traveling about, making a difference, planning tomorrows or discussing current events.

I'm quite comfortable with my own company and value honesty, curiousity, creativity and good communication. Dressing up for a night out is fun but I'm casual at heart and much prefer my (pressed) jeans and shorts to formality. Have been told I have a great sense of presence and am very genuine. (Oh, shucks!) I consider myself very fit, perpetually upbeat - slightly offbeat - physically and mentally adventurous, casual, expressive, very playful, gentle and poetic. Touching, hugging and affection are important to me.

On the down side, I dance poorly, sing off-key, dislike wearing ties and have never worn a tux. Got a few scars but very little baggage.

Life has been kind and fortune has smiled on me. I'm seeking an adventurous, independent woman with an equally upbeat assessment of her own life. Whatever the vagaries of fortune; she's a survivor. My ideal match will be a bright, bold, fit, trim, playful, athletic,sensuous, articulate woman eager to share both outdoor and indoor adventures. Physical activity, emotional courage, and self-awareness will accentuate her affectionate, light-hearted nature. She'll believe life should be passionate, fun, exciting, sometimes unpredictable and ...best when shared with an equal partner.

Naturally, we each won't share all of the other's interests but we'll have enough of a mutuality to make it interesting and enough of a difference to keep it exciting. Moreover, each will be willing to introduce the other to new experiences with patience and understanding. Sense of humor a must; sense of wonder a plus; love of nature wins my heart.

Depends on our chemistry and comfort level. I'm very accomodating. Hopefully, the hour or so we initially agree to spend together will dissolve into hours of animated conversation, delight, laughter, wonder and mutual discovery.

I favor a casual, relaxed atmosphere with minimum expectations but flavored with infinite possibilities. You'll get no BS from me. I am respectful and courteous. Would expect the same of you.
