There’s nothing spectacular or extraordinary about me, but there’s nothing awful either. I’m not drop dead gorgeous, but I’m no Medusa either. I’m not a rocket scientist, but I’m not stupid. I’m not rich but I make a comfortable living. I never got the “Mother of the Year” award, but I did raise 2 great sons -- both soldiers & overseas right now :( I try to be thoughtful, kind, open minded and fun, although I’m not always successful.

I have a very full life, a great job that keeps me busy, wonderful friends and enough activities to keep me running. I love football (Raven’s fan) and hockey (Caps fan) and go to as many games as I can. I do stained glass (not well) and love to travel. I have two dogs and two cats.

But, something is missing. I enjoy having that special someone to call and share great news with or who can just hold you and let you cry when you find out your son is being deployed again. I like the little things like sending a card just to say I'm thinking of you. I like cooking together and sitting out on the deck just talking.
