Hi, and thanks for taking a minute to read.
I'm a quiet person who would much rather be surrounded by a few close friends than be lost in a sea of people. On a typical Friday or Saturday night you're likely to find me at home, out with my daughter or sometimes at a friends house.
Among my favorite activities are movies, dinners out and spending time with my daughter, when she's not practicing her newly-aquired driving skills that is
Fair warning...if you happen to see a little white Pontiac coming and there's a pony-tailed blonde behind the wheel give her PLENTY of room!
Anyway...back to something a little less terrifying. I like to travel and I enjoy getting away for the weekend every now and then. I think it's really important to be able to put everything on hold for a day or two and just be able to relax.
Some of the plans I have for the future include: house-hunting around the first of the year, helping my daughter transition into college when the time comes and contemplating some sort of adventure into the mysterious world of cooking (any instruction would be greatly appreciated).
I'd love to meet someone who enjoys some of the same things I do but, ultimately, I believe happiness is much more who you're with than what you're doing. Even changing a flat tire on the side of the road could be fun if the company is good!
I firmly believe, without a doubt, that it's the opinions and emotions that are held in the heart and mind that define us, not the outer appearance that so many people are judged by.
There is lots more to say but we have to save something to talk about in person, don't we?
P.S.-Although at this point in my life I won't be having any more children, yours are more than welcome! Bring 'em on!
It would really depend on what our mutual interests are. Maybe lunch and a walk afterwards or a quiet dinner.
I think the most important thing would be the opportunity to talk and get to know each other.
