(added Nov 8,2009) Well, now I have been on POF for "quite some time" and yet, my fishing still continues! Could it be my technique? Will it help my fishing efforts to express my self-analytical considerations? Without delving too far into the details, I suppose I will cut such things off here, for now, but just know that I'd be interesting to hear what you might think of all this.

(previous profile) I grew up (mostly) in North Carolina but I have also lived & traveled extensively, so I am comfortable wherever I go! Over the years I have attained a considerable amount of experience and insight into life. There have been surprisingly few romatic relationships in this regard, but at the same time I learned a lot about myself- what I like and dislike, what worked and didn't work, but MOST importantly, expanding my capacity to Love. In addition to that, friendship, communication & honesty are also big factors for me. Serving in the military definitely adds to the complications of any relationship, but if you are still reading this (after looking at my pictures too?)...then there just MIGHT be enough chemistry at play to outweigh the disadvantages? At this point, I must add that I can be very analytical (like right now, as I am revising my profile...) But about that military thing...I recently returned from my third (and most likely last?) deployment to the middle east! At *THIS* particular instant, I don't know if I will return to "civilian" life this January or sign my life away to the Government for another few years. When I was younger I would have hated this uncertainty but I have surprised myself by actually learning to enjoy it! If you have any suggestions, I am definitely open to that!

All joking aside, if we are right for each other, I don't think it matters what we do on the "first date" because it will be fun no matter what happens...if we are wrong for each other, then the quality of the date won't really matter, will it? How about some canoeing? It's fun & allows for talking at the same time!
