SOOOOOO, I've been in Winnipeg awhile (gads, has it been 12 years!!??). Just bought a house, so I guess I'll stay awhile longer. I live with a cardboard-colored cat named Thomas, so I hope you're not allergic... too much. I work in the marketing department of a large company in town here, providing 3D graphics and multimedia programming for promotional materials. I'm not much of an athlete, but I've started going to the gym a couple of times a week in an effort to maintain some semblance of fitness.

I value intelligent, thought provoking conversation and have a lot of respect for women who pursue "non-traditional" occupations.

I've travelled as far west as Victoria, as far east as Montreal and as far south as Anaheim and Orlando. I still like road trips, but I can't handle the marathon driving like I used to. I'd like to travel to Japan someday -- I'm intrigued by modern japanese culture and technology. Any takers? Also wouldn't mind travelling to London... maybe run into a Dalek or visit Coronation Street!

I like taking walks, especially on mild, windless, snowy winter nights. The overcast sky traps the city light and illuminates everything in a diffuse orange glow.

Hmmm, I'm with a lot of folks here insofar as lunch or coffee seems to be the logical first step under these circumstances... Unless it is apparent that some common interest merits a trip somewhere special, say, the museum or the art gallery...
