About Me
Everyone starts the same, so I'm going to go backwards to forwards and hope you can keep up. I'm looking for real people, fun people, athletic and healthy. I have to be attracted, that's undeniable, but if I can't be attracted to your words as well, it's not gonna work.
As for what I'm doing when I'm not Superman, you'd probably find me running 4 - 5 miles a few times a week, or training for a triathlon. I am a reader and writer, art fan and chess man.
I sometimes have a hard time hearing in loud places, so I always find the best place to meet up is in the middle of a concert by the biggest speaker. Or maybe just a coffee shop, I'm a big fan of the couches.
for fun: I think they call it a renaissance man. I'm all over the place between studying business, reading books and training for triathlons and marathons. I'm usually willing to try anything once, depending on the reward.
my job: I just finished up my MBA in marketing, and I'm working as an analyst in the corporate world.
my ethnicity: Italian and irish, though i would admit I lean more towards the Italians. The pizza is better in America, but Italy is another world.
my education: BS in psych from University of Maryland, MBA from Rutgers. So basically I'm a knight riding on a terrapin instead of a horse...I'll get there eventually.
favorite hot spots: Italy's on the top of the list, and if you know where sorrento is, you get bonus points. I can do the bar/club scene, but I'm more at home on the beach or at the movies. Traveling to Europe more is something I'd like to do, with the right company.
favorite things: I'm not sure if the pain is considered favorable, but cycling and running are my thing now. I have done martial arts since I was young, and gymnastics in college. I like pizza and long walks on the beach...if it's right before a triathlon.
First Date
The truth of the matter is that no relationship will be successful without being able to talk to each other. I place high importance on casual as well as intellectual conversation. If you can go from a treatise on Socrates' vs. Aristotle and then move to a political debate between two presidential candidates and then burst out laughing with a sarcastic comment about an SNL sketch and then some goofy line from a cheesy sitcom - you have my attention. I value the ability to be goofy and serious in a span of 30 seconds.
