I feel like this time in my life is one of rediscovery. A passion in my teenage years for photography was reawakened three years ago and it has pointed me in a new direction. One hopefully that will bridge my current career in technology into one more attuned with the arts. My current position as a Systems Designer has me working with architects, interior designers and contractors on integrating electronics into multi million dollar homes across the US.

Along with my art, an interest in Chi Kung and meditation has emerged. This in part was inspired by three trips to China and my upbringing in Hawaii that opened my eyes to different cultures with all their different foods, customs and cultural practices.

I’m a lover of music and art and enjoy our fortunate ability to have access to great museums, music venues and galleries in the bay area. San Francisco (and the bay area) itself is a great beauty and I feel fortunate to live in a place so inspiring.

Spending time outdoors is important and I enjoy exploring the beauty of the bay area whether its a day hiking and day trip to Napa or beyond.

I enjoy ethnic and natural foods and exploring new eateries. While I tend to make healthy choices, I realize once in a while In/Out Burger just makes sense.

In general, in much of my downtime I like spending time at home relaxing and I'm not into all night partying and crowds. That being said, you’ll find me exploring the bay area for photographic opportunities and chasing fog in unusual places. If a photographic opportunity exists, international travel, occasional trespassing and excitement can ensue – want to come along? My current travel plans include Paris, New York, Yokohama and Hokkaido.

Who am I looking for? Someone either interested in the arts or artistic. Someone who would challenge me to be a better person and support me in my endeavors as I would support them in theirs. Someone interested in self growth, the healing arts or meditation who just might think that something lies beneath the obvious and mundane- that great beauty exists right in front of us if only we can see it.
