I am an independent woman, with an open mind and many interests. I enjoy watching a good "chick flick" or a great suspense thriller or playing Texas Hold'em. I also enjoy watching a sporting event or going to one. Reading, cooking, a good conversation are things that I like to do in my spare time. To keep my interest, first and formost you need to make me laugh and/or be able to discuss/debate current events. Family is the most important part of my life as our my friends. I am very active but also enjoy down time watching a good program on television. I beleive in mutual respect and am not the jealous type. "do on to others...." is a motto that I truly try to live with. A confident man is someone that would attract me....not shallow nor a snob. Someone that would respect me and my beliefs even if they do not always agree with those beliefs, someone that enjoys an evening with friends having some good food ( I would cook) great wine and good conversation is what I am looking for in a mate. Spur of the moment is fun and exciting......trying something new, booking a trip to Vegas and leaving the next morning....love it. My one pet peeve is GAME PLAYING, I don't have time for it, I don't enjoy it. Tell it like it is, honesty is always the best policy, in my books. I treat others like I want to be treated and do not play games. What you see is what you get....no surprises and that is what I am looking for.

I first date can be so many things....the one thing I don't like is going to the movies on a first date other than that I am up to almost anything. Surprise me with something really different.
