Have you gathered and held close the slow, rhythmic beauty of a butterfly warming itself on the banks of a languidly flowing stream as the first kiss of the mist-shrouded sun dries the sparkling dew from the softly-bent blades of grass?

I live in the ordinary world, but I view and make the world an extraordinary place. Be a big believer in finding great, small places -- restaurants, shops, vistas, events, walks -- in Seattle and beyond, where the food or the setting or the event is matched only by the experience we have being THERE, and where the entire setting creates a pallet not only for the palate, but for a great memory.
