About me...I like to rock (I love ZEPPELIN), ride my quad, and walk my dog (Buddah). I also like to do woodworking and work on my house. I added a big garage and workshop to my property a couple of years ago, so I'm pretty serious about my tools and woodworking. I'm a machinist at Trane Co. I just had my 26th anniversary there. It's hard to believe it's been that long. I work 4-10 hour days Monday-Thursday. I love that - it is great having a three-day weekend every week. My weekdays are very busy with work, walking Buddah daily and keeping up with my house (I'm not obsessively neat, but I like a clean house...what can I say?). On Fridays I usually help my mom and dad (retired) with odd jobs at their house. They did a lot for me, now it's my turn to help them out. On the weekends I like to have fun, which mostly consists of hanging out at the bar with friends or riding my quad in the marsh at the moment, but I'm open to new ideas for fun, too.

I have my own house and it is paid for, and I have no intention of ever moving. If you could see where I live and the view that I have you would understand why. I like living in La Crosse and I have a good job.

My sister says,'I'm your basic good guy,' and she tells me that is a good thing, even though it gets a bad wrap. I'm not afraid of committment; I'm honest and you wouldn't ever have to worry about me lying or cheating - those things are not in my "toolkit." I'm looking for a long-term relationship...someone to share life with. So if you like to rock and like to walk and just like staying home and watching the shadows cover the marsh as the sun goes down, you might be the one.

My ideal first date would go something like this. We would go out to eat...something like pizza. I think it is nice to be casual on a first date (actually, I like casual all the time). As we eat, we can get to know each other a bit. If we seem to click, I would invite you back to my house to check out the view of the marsh and so you could meet my family - Buddah (you know, my dog) and Sage (the cat). I will know if you are a good person after their reaction. We would watch a movie or sports (I forgot to mention I really like NASCAR and I like the Packers when they are playing well!). We'd get to know each other and hopefully have some laughs. A good date, for me, is one where there are a lot of laughs.
