Books: I don't really have a favourite. My bookshelf has lots of to-be-read books on it. I like reading classics. I'm currently, slowly, reading Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith but spending most of my time reading papers for my thesis.

Movies: My favourite director/writer is Tarantino. I also like 'I'm not there', 'Intermission', 'Vicky Christina Barcelona', and Disney movies.

Food: Well, my vegetarianism is fairly recent (>7 months), so I'm still finding my favourite veggie dishes. Don't be scared off if you're not a vegetarian; I'm not the type to try to get people to convert or anything. "You eat what you like and I'll eat what I like" (name that film). I really like going to vegetarian restaurants because they're usually so creative in their cooking. I'm not sure if there are any good ones in Halifax? I was living in Ottawa for the summer and visited Montreal and found some really good veggie restaurants there. Anyways, I really like mangoes, and for breakfast I love (gelatin free) vanilla yogurt, raspberries, and granola. The thing I miss most about eating meat is sushi. I've had vegetable sushi, of course, but it's just not the same haha.
