I'm setting up a new account this morning and it's too early to come up with clever stuff to say... lol... So I'll write more later. :)

Oops. I guess I already have to write more. Ok, I'll say that I'm pretty awesome. That should be enough. :D

Alright, fine. I'm sorta feeling like writing a little more now. But first I have to say that I really think this section "where you tell the world about yourself" is pretty funny... This is where we all sit and throw out our best sales pitch to convince everyone how great we are, right? But I gotta wonder - if we were really THAT great, I guess we wouldn't be on a dating site now would we!

So I guess I'll just say I'm great enough to have been married for 11 years, but not great enough to not be divorced! :) But I'm at least smart enough that I didn't dive right back into another relationship on the rebound, and picky enough to wait for someone that's right for me and not settle for anyone who's not...

Oh, crap... Man, it's hard NOT to try to sell yourself on here! But let me just stop right now. Cuz I could sit here and write everything that everybody else writes about themselves, but at the end of the day, it's still only what I THINK I am, and how I describe MYSELF. But unfortunately I've found that a lot of the time, what we THINK we are is WAY OFF from what everybody ELSE thinks we are! I will say this about me tho - my interests listed above will give you a lot of insight into who I am and what I like. But the bottom line is, the only way to REALLY know who someone is is to meet them. So if you think wanna know me, let's get together and have a drink and see what happens, ya know? I can't promise we'll be a match when we meet, but I'll tell you this - come ready to have fun, cuz I can guarantee you will NOT be bored!

So one quick thing I should mention - I LOVE to travel. It's truly my passion. I love seeing new places, meeting new people, trying new cuisines, and experiencing new cultures. It has been a mind-opening and life-changing experience for me, and I look forward to every new trip. I work for an airline now, so I have an opportunity for almost unlimited travel, and I think it would be great to have someone to take with me. So if you're not really into that kind of adventure, you might want to look for a more boring guy. :D

I'll wrap things up with this positive note... Remember that last guy you dated? I'm WAY better than him. And I would NEVER pull that crap that HE did! lol... Well, actually, I probably WILL do that one thing... But I guarantee I'll do it a lot better than he did! :P

Ok, in my opinion, a first date is TOTALLY just an "interview" to see if there'll be a second one! Cuz really, you're there basically for only 3 reasons: First, you need to see if this person REALLY looks like their pictures in their profile (which they don't about half the time). Second, you wanna see if they're REALLY as funny and nice and interesting etc. etc. etc. as they SAY they are in their profile (which they're not about 90% of the time). And lastly, and most importantly, you just essentially wanna see if there's any CHEMISTRY between you! And honestly, when you meet someone, can't you tell within about 15 minutes (or LESS) if there's gonna be any chemistry at all??? I know I can.

So MY first date would go something like this: We plan to get together for maybe 30 minutes and have a drink and talk. Pretty simple, right? But in 30 minutes you can get answers to all 3 of the questions above! Easy! So you know if they at least RESEMBLE their picture, and you also know if they are at least SORTA who they said they are. So then if there's no chemistry? Well, we've all been there before and we all know how that ends, right? But at least this time we've only invested a half hour! But if there IS chemistry, then we'll probably completely blow the 30 minute limit, and the date will just roll on it's own. And then the sky's the limit for date number 2! So there you go.

So... when are we getting together for that drink??? :)
