I like to type, just a fair warning...

Hello fellow Poffers. I'm a friendly and down to earth gal, looking to make new friends and maybe find something more, if the opportunity presents itself. I've got a pretty good sense of humour, a little dry at times, so if you don't know how to laugh, either at yourself or with others, keep on truckin'. Sometimes I'm a little too sarcastic for my own good, but that's who I am. I'm honest, sincere, and fun to be around. I'm high on life, so I'm not looking to meet anyone who depends on a pill or bottle to get the most out of their life.

I'm spontaneous. I'm all for the late night java or bike ride with a pal in the middle of the night if we both find we can't sleep.

I love the outdoors. I grew up spending every summer in the woods with my mom, or on my grandparents farm.

I love animals, any kind. I'll baby talk to them, and no, I won't apologize.

I'm a DIE HARD Canuck's fan. I was in Chicago the night they took us out of the cup run..a sad night for me.

Ahh, music..I can't live without it. Whether it's just something playing on my laptop for background noise, or catching a local band at a small pub or cafe, or going to concerts.. I love it. I'll listen to the Top 40 and Rock stations on the radio, when and if I actually listen to it, otherwise I listen to a lot of streaming stations online. A lot of Jazz and Blues and Dance and "Easy listening". My iPod playlists consist mostly of old school music, you know, when it was "real"? Classics from Sinatra, Bennett, Billie Holiday, Etta James, to The Beatles, Elvis, Buddy Holly, to more the more modern stuff of today. I love it all.

Cooking, I love it. I'll put some great music on, dance like a carefree child with my spatula in the air when I think no ones looking, and sing along at the top of my lungs. I love putting a great meal on the table for someone. Just don't hang over my shoulder and ask "What are you doing" or "That's not how my mother does it"..haha.



I'd love to meet people who have a sense of humour, a positive outlook on life, loves and respects their family, and isn't afraid to take a chance every now and then and try something new. Live a little. What's the worst that can happen, you find something you either like..or don't like. Why live your life in a box?

Must love dogs. I know it's a cheesy movie title, but it's the truth. I've got a 13 year old Border Collie x Blue Heeler, and I can't imagine life without him. My ex didn't like him and wanted me to find him a new home. So I did. My ex, that is :P


If you're on here looking to meet someone for reasons you wouldn't talk about with your Mother, then pretend I'm her, and move along.

I'm pretty friendly, so by all means, if you want to know something I haven't mentioned in the above novel, send me a message. If it's intelligent, respectful, has more than 10 words excluding "sup" and "yo", and uses proper grammar, I'll respond honestly and openly .
However, iF u TaLk LyKe DiS n WaNnA Kno wHa PoSiTioN I LyKe... then I'll respond with some crude pictures of old naked women doing terrible things to young men in chains. I'm assuming some percentage of you on here aren't into that, so I think we'll get along just fine.
