To be honest I hate this bit 'cos I either come out sounding boring or slightly demented lol. Regular down to earth, glass half full kind of guy who likes a laugh, comfortable in any social situation whether its suited n booted or jeans n t-shirt, been told I scrub up pretty well so dont let the long hair scare you off and earings come out lol :), I do own suits and ties, maybe I should add a pic. Also losing weight slowly but surely ( stone and a half in 3 months) I'm a believer that most people are able to judge a person as a whole and not just on how they look but hey first impressions and all that and I'm not naive enough to think that looks aint important :)
I enjoy listening to live music, mostly metal or rock but my musical tastes can be pretty eclectic (my mp3 player isnt just full of Guns n Roses and Def Leppard, there's tracks by Fairport Convrntion,James Blunt, Michael Jackson even Benny Hill) and if its live I'll pretty much listen to anything. Also enjoy pubs and restaurants, and getting away from it all if I can, though I still do the occasional all nighter lol. Walks along the beach are good to, I love the coast in all weathers, tho Summertime is the best time for the beach. I'm also a big fan of the Lake District. Bit of an old romantic at heart I guess.
Oh yeah, if you stick a kareoke mic in my hand I'm liable to morph into Axl Rose/Meatloaf/Joe ****er (the guy who sings love lifts us up where we belong and unchain my heart, POF put the asterisks in cos it looked like a rude word he he)but dont worry I wouldn't inflict it on anyone who's hates it.
I'm learning to drive at the moment and about to put in for my driving test, gulp lol. Plan on getting back on two wheels to, its been a while but hey you only live once. A parachute jump is also on my "to do" list as is taking at least one flying lesson, tho hopefully I wont be having to do both at the same time !!!

Anyway if you've got this far without dropping off why not say hello.
Update, thought I'd better do this as its been a while. I'm hoping to go to Uni next year to study psychiatric nursing, aint gonna be easy but most things you really want have to worked for but I've decided I want a career not a job, something challenging and fullfilling, hopefully this'll be both.
Treat others as you would wish to be treated, keep your real friends close to your heart, pause a moment to marvel at a sunrise or sunset, dance in the rain with someone you love, dont be afraid to walk down the street holding hands it feels good and I'll bet it brightens at least one persons day who sees you, cherish those first moments and kisses with someone, they have their own special magic and will make you smile when things seem at their darkest, make the most of every moment, 'cos its likely this is the only chance we get at living
go somewhere were we can talk and get to know each other, a few drinks or a meal maybe, or something a bit out of the ordinary like catching a band or bowling, or a tandem parachute jump ( thats a joke by the way ). anywhere's fine by me in the right company.
