It is nearly impossible to describe myself with any accuracy using nothing but text. However, here is "Me: The Reader's Digest Edition":

-I like men who have: intelligence, wit, a strong sense of self, realism, honesty, patience, loyalty, a colourful vocabulary, and an open mind.

-I dislike: lies, mind games, unjustified arrogance, an overbearing sense of entitlement, blind optimism, and jealousy.

-I am: real, shy & quiet at first, a good listener, a published poet, a history/ab psych (abnormal psychology)/criminology buff, intelligent, patient, honest, driven, passionate, fiercely loyal, strong-willed (ok, I'm stubborn), and an admitted workaholic/book nerd/insomniac with a slight shoe obsession and an addiction to Red Bull.

-Basic Stats:
> Height: 5'9"
> Weight: no idea. I'd say around 110lbs or so.
> Hair: black (blonde was a phase)
> Eyes: blue
> Skin: alabaster (ie. white as snow), with tattoos (not visible if I were to wear a skirt and tank top)
> Measures: 35-24-35 (?)

> Style: understated It-Girl. For example: I love designer jeans for the way they fit and am a firm believer in stilettos and properly tailored clothing. I am not a walking billboard for any brand/label (though if I like a particular item, I'll wear it), and am equally comfortable in black tie/formalwear/suits or yoga pants/flip flops/hoodies.

> I always carry/wear: mirrored aviators, my Blackberry, my flash drive, a Swiss Army knife, several pens, and a comb.

> I will listen to any music. Whether or not I'll enjoy it remains to be determined, but I can't make a sweeping generalization like "I don't like country music", because I might miss something amazing.

Ideally, somewhere that isn't too loud (staring at some stranger and having to lip-read at some volume-happy club? Not my thing).
Beyond that, I believe that first dates should be spontaneous and flexible, not scheduled and regimented. "Go with the flow" works for me.
