I work as a nurse, enjoy eating in or out (I like to cook - and I'm quite capable of cleaning up the mess from cooking as I go !), browsing bookstores, antique stores, movies (out and at home). I don't have any interest in doing the bar scene anymore - I don't care to be around tobacco smoke and obnoxiously inebriated people.

Some other things I enjoy are live theater, zoos, wildlife refuges, summer art festivals and whatever else springs to mind on a spur-of-the-moment basis.

I'm not into any "recreational pharmaceuticals" other than caffeine, champagne, chocolate, cognac and some vino !!

I'm interested in meeting a woman who is approximately 45 to 65 yrs of age and is also a non-smoker and doesn't use any drugs. I don't think I have any preferences for or against any particular race, color or ethnic origin.

You - are a woman that is available, and ready, to explore the idea of a romantic and intimate relationship ..... your past relationship is done with and, our "baggage" is small enough to be stowed in the overhead rack - without dropping in on us too frequently !

Your children, as are mine, are grown and independent. My current dependents include 1 mutt and all the wild birds and squirrels at my backyard feeders. Having been exposed to different cultures around the world has helped foster in me a non-judgemental acceptance of the differences between all of us - not only on a cultural level but on a personal level as well.

I'm not at all religious and have no interest in participating in any religious activities - my preference is to be with a woman that has a similar view of religion. However, I am tolerant and accepting of a partners' need or desire to follow her own spiritual path.
