It's always seems difficult to construct these 'profiles' without sounding cliche. Anyway I've been told by many that I'm not your 'average guy' and I've always taken pride in that. I've been told I'm intelligent (ooh did I spell that right? ), funny, caring, trustworthy, and unique. I believe in being tactfully honest, real (no games, no drama), and empathetic. I also believe that women deserve respect and equality, and that the only person we have the right to control or judge is ourselves. I strive for a healthy balance in my day to day life. Everything we experience has positive and negative aspects, the challenge of choice comes in having the ability to see those aspects and in choosing to focus on those with positive value. I have always liked the idea that the only true mistake is the one that fails to teach. My interests and abilities are wide and varied, and am always open to new ideas, experiences, and adventures.

I believe thoughtful communication is key to a healthy relationship, as is honesty, respect, and trust. I have found that intimacy based on an emotional connection is awesome and that shared interests along with differences inspire growth and adventure. I'm an avid animal lover with a strong propensity towards dogs (spotted ones as you can see) so much so that I'd have to say that the phrase/movie title "Must Love Dogs" fits my situation to a tee.

So that's a bit about who I am, though there is a lot more to share. I'm pretty much an open book, no secrets here...
