Most relationships run on the basis of either infatuation, otherwise known as a chemical reaction that occurs in the brain and lasts for about 3 months, or on insecurity, whereby it can last forever because 1 or both people involved depend on the other for their false sense of self. I am looking for neither. I’d like to meet someone I can tolerate and that will keep surprising me for longer than an undefined-short-amount-of-time.

It doesn’t really matter how smart, rich, good looking, nice or interesting you are. I have tons of friends that fit those descriptions. If there’s no x-factor, we’ve got nothing at all.
