I just graduated (kinda) from UT with a degree in magazine journalism. I love to write, and I do, frequently, but I'm not really looking to do anything with a big corporate media outlet anytime soon...if ever. I would love to write for a magazine like The Nation or Rolling Stone or even GQ.

I currently blog for www.thecollegevoter.com which is a site aimed at Millenials and the issues affecting them when it comes to electoral politics. I also have my own blog at justiceaddict.blogspot.com where I write about politics, culture, music and basketball.


I like to blog, however, and I'd love to make a living doing that. Failing that I will become a rock star or US Senator. I swear.

I sing songs and record them in my spare time and in my not so spare time.

I read a lot. Not as much as I'd like to. I cook and bake vegan food much more than I read. I love Judd Apatow and Woody Allen movies. Quentin Tarantino is amazing as well. I like to read and write about politics, history, fiction and poetry. I am a HUGE San Antonio Spurs fan and I like the Boston Celtics too.

I'd expect you to be halfway intelligent and at least a quarter or so tuned in to popular culture because I'm sarcastic and I reference things a lot-otherwise there might be a lot of blank stares going around. And, I hate to waste eye contact.


p.s. I really don't get why we're supposed to pick a fish to describe our personality...it's kinda cute but...
