I am a single parent of an almost 15 year old. When I am not at work I can be found attending my childs sporting events (softball and basketball) or outside doing yard work or just walking, walking......(would love someone to walk with me)! There is something about being closed up in the house all the time when the weather is nice. I do a lot of yard work which is rewarding for me. I enjoy taking long walks and most of all sitting on the patio in the evening with torches lit, a cold beer or glass of wine enjoying the quiet (some company would really be nice). When it is winter the indoors is fine especially when I can sit in front of the cozy fireplace (this too would be nice with some company)! I love to laugh and have a good time, but I also know when it's time to be serious. I love the calm and a good cup of coffee in the morning. Communication is very important to me in a relationship. I am not interested in anybody who has a problem with being dishonest, unfaithful or who I can't trust. I would hope by the first date we will have had phone conversations or e-mails getting to know each other a little. I would probably like something quiet with alot of conversation, dinner and drinks getting to know each other even more. Then maybe a walk and figuring out our comfort level. It's hard to say until being close together what will evolve. I am one who just checks things out and then goes with the flow. Dating is always great because one never knows if this will lead to a life-time together in the future or a decision to go our separate ways.
