I don't have any fave 'type' of man...but i do like a man of reasonable intelligence, respect, compassion and wickedly childish and naughty sense of humour...not anyone who talks at full volume in a quiet pub...nor anyone who claims to be someone they are most obviously not...and as for a man who is into extreme sports(great, but too much for me!), or was/is in the SAS (had far too many of those lately!), and as for people who 'Lives life to the MAX' (oh i hate that cliche), well that is great, but a little too unrealistic for my liking...If anything, I prefer to think we try to live each day like it is our last..so a man who shows compassion for those around him, has mutual respect for everyone, and can hold a deep meaningful philosophical conversation one minute, but a silly childish one the next! And a wicked streak is a must!!!
And it would be more practical if we lived close (ish) to each other..
Im ex-Navy (still miss it in a way), a true feisty passionate Aries, been on my own for over 8 yrs now (been my choice), my 14yr old son lives with me and we have a great relationship, my daughter & family live 40 miles away and gave me a beautiful munchie granddaughter a few months ago...I am a cuddly lady..certainly no gorgeously slim model-type...but i give the best cuddles you could ever wish for xx
i am a self-employed energy psychotherapist and also organise paranormal events, run ghost walks and perform house/building cleansings...i can also do indian head massage (porn for heads
), reiki, etc...I have a degee in health and a thirst for learning, so aim to start a science masters degree in the next year or so...i have quite a busy life, but even though i have arthritis (since my teens), i dont let myself stagnate!!
i love being outdoors, love walking in the rain, LOATHE shopping & chocolate, a very private person yet very open with those i love, get emotional over certain pieces of music, love to have a good laugh, am quite a calming person and sometimes can appear detached from a situation,yet i am deeply passionate, tactile and very affectionate with the right person. Honest to the point of being blunt. I DO have a temper, BUT it is over with in minutes and i NEVER hold a grudge, never regret, never resentful, and try my best to never judge...EXCEPT i get VERY angry when people do not indicate at round-a-bouts and do not have manners on the road...and i will quite happily take the mickey out of myself...
i can be quite scatty at times (that's like a dippy blonde, BUT with a brain cell!!) Hence why the hair is now a very dark purple and not blonde anymore hahaaa...OH yes...and IF we ever met and i was wearing a skirt? then please check me from behind if i nip to the loo, as i have a nasty habit of tucking my skirt into my knickers and not realising it...as i did once on the very breezy top deck of the I-O-W ferry....OH THE SHAME....
I was told recently I sound like i am a bit of a ladette? ARGHH noooo..I admit i am a bit of a tomboy, BUT having mixed with people from all kinds of backgrounds in the Navy, I can not only act like the perfect lady, but love to be treated like one (doors held open etc)...i have a sense of occasion and can dress & act appropriately

AND....IT NOW APPEARS that my sense of humour/banter is taken in the totally wrong way by some on here...THATS what i HATE about online messaging and texts, they are often read totally differently to how they were meant when they were written!!!
