I would like to meet someone that could be my best friend. I enjoy the simple pleasures that life has to offer; long walks, riding a bicycle, going to movies, being creative with my artistic endeavors or just the quiet times at home. I like taking the road less traveled to see small town America and trying the great restaurant that isn't part of a chain. Wandering the streets of Chicago and watching the fast pace life and the mix of cultures. I like places of history and natural wonder, I have seen many parts of the world on my own; I would like to see them again but this time with the eyes of another. I love to laugh to tease and be teased and believe if you can't laugh at yourself you leave the job to others. I don’t take life to serious and take its ups and down in stride. My inner child is alive and well and I can see the wonder of Gods work in some of life's simplest things. Some days I wonder when I will start to feel like an adult. I am slow to anger quick to forgive and to those I love I am loyal to a fault. I have come to believe the heart of a man doesn't truly start to work until he is in his forties and has raised a child. Well forty is just a memory; I have raised two great children that are on their own. I would like to find someone to share my heart with. I know that lasting friendships take time.
