I lost my temper once...and never found it. So I rarely get mad. Mother taught me manners at a very early age. I will open doors for you, help you with your wrap, rise when you leave AND approach the table, and walk between you and the curb so you won't be splashed by a passing carriage. Originally, I was a Yankee, having been born and raised in Champaign, Illinois.

I first fell in love with Nashville when I was stationed at Sewart Air Force Base (now Smyrna Airport) from Oct '68 to Apr '70. After 13 months at Little Rock AFB, I served in DaNang, South Vietnam for 10 months & 24 days. After being discharged, I returned home to earn my finance degree from the University of Illinois. Then I moved back to Nashville the day after I graduated.

I like to travel; I've been to Paris, Tennessee, Paris, Illinois, and Paris, France. Guess which city I enjoyed the most? Acapulco, Honolulu, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, & Las Vegas were fun to visit. If you would like to hear my funniest experience, ask me about the time I locked MYSELF out of my four star hotel room in Miami...naked. Of course, it WASN'T funny while it was happening! LOL

There are many activities that are enjoyable when you are with the right person: walking, watching movies, taking road trips, preparing meals together, and dancing are just a few. I'm not a GREAT dancer, but I HAVE been told I dance better than the average white boy!

I would like to meet an attractive lady with a sense of humor and an outgoing personality. I prefer someone who is affectionate.

Attraction on a dating site obviously begins by viewing the other person's profile. If mutual interest exists after the exchange of a few emails, I would prefer to move to the telephone...besides, I can talk faster than I type.
