I'm looking for just one woman, one who matches up with me so well that I can't help but describe her as incredible and amazing. The type of woman who closes her eyes when I kiss her forehead, the type that wants me to call her beautiful but won't mind if I think she is hot when we are going out on the town and dancing, the type of woman who can be crazy wild and yet completely in control of her life at every other moment.

In the mean time I'm open to meeting people to go out and have fun, be social and try a few new things. I really want to find the right woman but I can have fun along with way.

The short version of me: athletic, adventurous, outgoing, active, intelligent, masculine, Texan, funny, driven, aggressive (I'm told I am a typical type A personality, but I don't fully agree only half agree so is that A/B or a "Type a"?), caring, goofy, thrill seeking, professional, a dog loving, exciting, introspective, analytical, and sexual. Intrigued? Read on, but beware I'm sure I've written a lot:

I love to cook, go out to dinner, am a wino (I really enjoy good wine and am always trying new wines), dancing, mountain biking, snowboarding, road biking, swimming, watching TV (probably a bit too much), reading, enjoy spending time with friends, sleeping in, waking up early to go for a great workout and trying new things. To give you an idea of what I’m like I’ve flown planes again (I have my pilot's license), raced cars, scuba dived, golfed, rock climbed, sky dived (even had my student license for awhile), and tons of other things I'm sure and I’d like to do each of those again. I love challenging myself.

I've always been an athletic guy, I grew up as a competitive swimmer and it is still in my blood. Now I'm more into mountain biking, and training for another half Ironman next year (my first was in July and I was in horrid shape for it, I can't let that happen next year!). I try to workout at least 5 times a week, it is really important to me and I've come to realize that is it a necessary component in my life, both from a physical and mental health standpoints.

My career is pretty important to me, and tend to work a good number of hours each week and am driven to get ahead professionally. At some point I would like to get my MBA, but that is still on the horizon and depends on what the future holds. I would say that I'm very flexible when it comes to my views on the world. Having grown up in Texas I think there is a wide gulf between me and most people that grew up in Ca, especially Southern Cal.

As for what I'm looking for, well someone similar to me. Some of the traits I want in a partner: intelligence athleticism (and continuing to workout), caring, understanding, grounded, adventurous, personable, fun and funny. Someone who is comfortable wearing flip flops half the week and high heels the other half, and once in a while getting dressed to the nines for a night out. Someone who enjoys; going out for dinner, staying in and having a mellow night, dancing, cooking, wine (and drinking in general), watching my junk TV shows with me, sleeping in, staying up late, having a successful career and tons of other things. And though it is uncouth to write this, someone who realizes that an intimate and frequent physical relationship is important (essentially someone who can't get enough like me ;-).

Oh and you have to love dogs! I don't have a dog in my life as I had to put my girl to sleep and I don't think I'm in the right place in my life to get another one, but sometime in the future I will have dogs in my life again.

I think to start, we should meet as friends. Grab a drink or something equally easy and mellow just to see if we have any compatibility. So a friendly drink where we go dutch, not a date. If we are into one another afterwards we can have a real date. What we do on that date will be different for each person.
