Like most people I'd prefer to meet someone through a mutual friend or maybe in the produce section at the grocery store, although I've never heard of anyone actually meeting that way (the produce section that is). But the world being as it is, the internet seems to be the way to meet people, so I'm going to give this a whirl once again.

I've raised a daughter on my own,..well, actually two daughters because an evil twin appeared at about age 13 and hung around for a few years till my real daughter came back to me. I've travelled a lot and that is my passion right now, so if you're afraid to fly then we probably aren't a match. I'm not into extreme sports and snow ski about as good as Sonny Bono, however I love to hike, especially with my Golden who is my best buddy, and I tend to spend a lot of time outdoors. I'm a very spontaneous person and its nothing for me to call up my partner on a Friday afternoon and say I've got reservations for that weekend at a rustic hideaway or a 5 star hotel (family obligations permiting of course). I'm a true romantic and I do best with someone who likes the same. I go to the gym 3 times a week and have hired a personal fitness trainer, I don't do this because I like to work out...I do it because if I don't I know I'll end up looking like the Michelin man :)

Physically (and yes ladies, we guys know that you're just as visual as we are despite your assurances to the contrary) Im 6ft 2in tall, have all my own hair and teeth, and no-one has ever gathered around me for shade at the beach.

I'm looking for something long term, so if you don't have the time to start a relationship or are just looking for a chat buddy then please pass me by, and if you get a hernia trying to say a word over two syllables then we probably aren't a good match either.
