| | Like everybody else I never thought I would be on a dating site but here I am. I came on this site because the bar scene is boring and it's the same old thing everywhere I go. I take care of myself and try to stay with the times, no "budweiser" sweats on all the time or ratty shorts and beat up sneakers. I work with pretty much all dudes and that severely limits the amount of datable woman I come into contact with. I used to work ridiculously long hours but have come to realize that working 24/7 isn't the #1 priority.
For myself summer time is dedicated to taking advantage of the warm weather, whether it be on a patio or at the lake. I love playing sports, specifically hockey and volleyball. I enjoy travelling and try to leave the country once a year (looking for south america this winter, maybe costa rica?). I like to think that i'm pretty open to anything, whether it being active outdoors or staying in and relaxing. Family is a big deal to me as is education. I have years of post secondary and am currently enrolled in the sweetest job. I make a good wage and i guess i need to cause im still paying off student loans!
I would like to meet someone who is down to earth, confident in themselves and independent. A girl who enjoys shopping and travel would be ideal, but most importantly i would like to meet someone who is honest and capable of communicating. I'm very optomistic and know that the glass is always half full. People who are always complaining or upset about something make me laugh, to me it seems challenging to be miserable all the time. I stay active by running and various sports throughout the year and belive that family is of the utmost importance. Hopefully the idea of Sunday morning church sounds normal and not uncomfortable for ya as i was raised going to church every sunday. I'm no church nerd though, a few beers or some red wine never hurt nobody. |

The first casual meeting.... something laid back where we can talk. Better yet somewhere we can go and see something, its summer and theres too much to do. Live shows, exhibits, festivals, Edmonton is very good as it boasts tons of sweet summer venues. If all else fails a quiet pub where they serve liquid courage was never a bad play. |
