I'm 6'2", 40 years old, and I, not being perfect have a few extra pounds. Not a fat slob or someone you wouldn't want to be seen in public with. I'm currently watching my weight and taking it off with daily exercise. I belong to a gym and enjoy it alot. I work part time as a firefighter/paramedic for 2 departments. Why 2? Because the job market is very competitive and not a high turn over rate here in Ohio. My schedule varies but I get days off too. I wear glasses/contacts and I have a shaved head. But, not because I'm going bald. It's just something I wanted to try quite a few years ago and I liked it. I've never been married and I have no children. (in case your wondering why, I just haven't met the right woman, or as I like to say; "found my missing piece). I was engaged once in 1994. A story for another time. I'm a very laid back guy and I enjoy many things. I try not to sweat the petty stuff or pet the sweaty stuff...LOL. Sorry bad joke! From the outdoors to stuff indoors. I enjoy going out or hanging out with friends. Be it dinner, going to a game or just hanging out. A few other things are biking,walking,fishing,working out. Playing or watching sports. I enjoy football and baseball the most. Big Steelers fan! Does not mean you have to be (would be nice though!). But, I'd hope you'd have some interest and knowledge of the sport and watch the games with me. I also enjoy music. My taste in music varies from classic rock and beyond. As for movies I enjoy comedies,dramas,action. I also enjoy going to concerts or the theatre. Anything I missed feel free to ask.

I'm looking to meet a friend first and we'll go from there. I can't say who I'd like to meet. But I'd hope there'd be chemistry. Looks aren't the only thing. But, there does have to be some physical attraction. In my opinion, intelligence, humor, easy going, fun and the qualities she posesses on the inside is just as sexy as the outside appearance. I hope she'd like/have the same interests and some of her own interests that she enjoys too. Or, friends that she likes to do stuff with too. I have a small circle of "close or best friends" and hope she would too. Someone active and enjoys working out, biking, walking, hiking or any other outdoor activities. I enjoy spending time with my godson and his little sister. They keep me on my toes..lol. So if you want to meet one of the few remaining nice guys, don't be shy and drop me a line. I also have to add and don't let this be a deal breaker. I'm not a huge texter. I can and will for short or important conversations or just a quick hello or whatnot. But, I don't do the 3 hr text marathons. I'd rather talk on the phone and have an actual conversation. Sorry, just a pet peeve.

I'm pretty open to anything on a first date. I think a good date would maybe be lunch and a walk in a park or maybe explore a museum together. A bike ride and picnic. The possibilities are endless and depend on the Ohio weather. Or even dinner and a walk. Not anywhere loud where you couldn't talk and get to know each other better.
