How many really read these from top to bottom?:) Hello all you fishies I'm Christopher. Are you an optimist who can see your glass as more than half full even on a bad day? That's what I am. I love my family and am hoping you get along with yours. I'm a communicator and need a communicator. Those who easily become angry, arrogant or who have not dealt with their past sufficiently are not what I'm looking for. If you are good hearted, intelligent, communicative, funny / quirky and optimistic I'm already interested...

Friends and family have said I'm loyal, easy going, thoughtful, charming, independent, and also a goofball at times. If I make a friend or two here that's great but what I'm really looking for is a soulmate. That may sound like a tall order to some but I truly feel that person is nearly in sight. I'm not seeking a carbon copy of me, just that unique someone who compliments me and I them.

Do you enjoy some of these things? Travel, biking, hiking, family, thumb wrestling, nature, affection, history, antiques, swimming, culture, thunderstorms, museums, camping, music, roller coasters, sunsets, dancing, boating, bowling, movies, life long learning, current events, picnics, art, coffee, being near water, concerts, photography, board games, sports, poetry, pungent lillacs, stimulating conversation, comfortable silence, moonlight, music, comedy, country living, urban touring, and wine tasting to name a few. We don't need to have everything in common. I love to be introduced to new things and am happy to do the same. I grew up Catholic. While I appreciate certain aspects of that upbringing I decidedly stopped observing when I was a kid. I honestly could care less what religion you are as that has almost nothing to do with what's written in your heart. I'm open to many perspectives even if I may not agree with them. Are you open minded too? If the warmth of a hug, cuddles or other forms of romantic affection don't interest you much you are clearly looking for someone else.

My son Jacob is an incredible gift and blessing to say the least. I also have a guide dog named Aztec and they must be appreciated and not merely tolerated. Jakes mom and I get along for his sake so there is no drama there. I'd love to meet someone who is open to having kids. When this all finds you and if by chance it feels right I'll be waiting to hear from you. Oh and best wishes to one and all even if you didn't bother to read this all!

I'm pretty flexible about activities but I'd envision meeting at a coffee shop or restaurant where we could have a real conversation. The setting isn't as important as the company itself!
