I am an artist, writer, musician and actor who works from time to time as a carpenter and has for some twenty years. I can build a house from the ground up, although these days I prefer cutting stairs to framing walls. I am a struggling artist, and, although my art will always be more important to me than financial stability, I do hope to break through and make a good living with my creative endeavors. I am currently writing a fantasy novel which I am illustrating. Although I am an artist, I also love the sciences and much of my reading material is in the subject of theoretical physics, astronomy etc. Since I spend a lot of time in front of my computer writing, recording etc, I really don't get out much. I do work out regularly though, and am in good shape, so don't think that I am a computer potato. I love hiking, camping and nature in general, and walking in the redwoods is heaven to me. I have done some acting, the vast majority on stage, and I love the improvisational atmosphere of the renaissance faire, which I have worked for over twenty years (Don't worry, I'm not a geek who walks around in the real world talking like a reject from a local production of Twelth Night.) As I alluded to above, I am not wealthy, so if you are looking for someone to bankroll your aspirations for high society then you should certainly go elsewhere. In fact, I recently moved back to my childhood home and built an addition to give me the freedom to finish my novel, record an album and produce a short film so if this is a problem for you (and I realize that it is for many- no hard feelings) then I wish you the best of luck finding your provider. If, on the other hand, you are happy with your current status and looking for an artistically savvy, well educated man to share your time with then let's get to know one another. Well, I suppose that covers it for now.

I'm pretty open to whatever she wants to do, but, for me, a stroll through an oak grove is a wonderful way to get to know someone. If we hit it off, a nice dinner afterwords would be ideal too.
