I like cars--probably too much. I like to play guitar and sing (country mostly--that's how it always comes out, anyway). I like action and comedy movies sometimes. I'm kind of an introvert and always seem to find myself a step behind, but I try to work on improving that every day. I can be silly and goofy sometimes. Most of my friends have gotten married and had children, which leaves me alone and bored quite a bit. I'm not into bars or clubs, so I never seem to meet any single women. I'd like to meet someone just to chat, hang out, or date a bit to start with, and see where it leads.

Well, so far this has been useless for the most part. I've been on here close to a year I think. I've had exactly two dates. Both were with nice girls, but we just weren't compatible I guess. Anyone I initiate contact with lately because they actually seem attractive and have things in common with me doesn't respond. I think I do pretty good at at least returning people's messages and being friendly, even if I don't intend to meet them. It would be nice if everyone was like that. I don't know where people get off thinking they will lead someone on just by typing a freaking email to show that you at least have some common decency. Heck, I know I suck at starting conversations with women, but I like to think I've been at least nice and funny with the few messages I've sent. I don't bite, I open doors for my dates (yes, even after the first few dates!), I'm honest about my stats on here. One chick didn't want to meet anyone else because the last date she had wasn't even the guy in his pics, so that screwed me out of a date I reckon. It's ridiculous, what's the point? I'm not chasing y'all anymore. I'll get on here and check my mail, but if you want to talk to me, you email me. I'm tired of sending messages and not even getting a response, especially considering how hard my tiny male brain has to work to come up with something that might illicit a favorable response from a female. One girl's profile said that she owned a musclecar--okay, so do I, great topic that I know a lot about, so I email and greet her and ask what kind. "read-deleted" What's a guy gotta do? I give up. If you want me to be a self-centered jerk just say so. I'm a nice guy, but I can probably pull off being a jerk. Let me try--your body type is "average" compared to what, a refrigerator?--how's that? Yeah I'm sure that's a winner too. Anyway, I'm out. I'll get an email to alert me if I ever happen to get another message on here.
