There are two from October 2006 from a POF party in Lakeland, Florida.
There are two others where I'm singing at home taken in March 2009.
There are two others (most current) of me with short hair … taken August 2009 shortly after singing at a German festival. (Yes I do speak, read, and write German … and sing in German). At that point, I had just cut my hair (more than 14 inches cut off) and I donated it to "Locks of Love".
There is one final photo of me in a long black dress … taken in Dec. 1997 shortly after graduation from nursing school.

The photos will hopefully leave the correct impression of me ... I'm a fun happy person. I enjoy laughing and helping others to laugh as well. I'm not much of "party" girl. I'm really more of a "home body".

I am a graduate of Columbus North High School ... GO POLAR BEARS!!! That means that I really did grow up here in Columbus ... yes I am from Columbus!!!!

Are there any smart men out there looking for a smart, talented woman? Are you non-religious and not a Republican? Here I am!!!!

I believe in being friends first with all men I'm in contact with. I say that because it's just so very important for a man and woman to be able to connect ... other than just intimately. If I sense chemistry ... I will not hold back in letting you know. But first ... can we at least just be friends the first few meetings?

UPDATE ... APRIL 5, 2009: Let's see ... today is my birthday and after doing a quick body and mind check, I have determined that I still don't feel my age ... guess I never will. I stay in touch with friends from high school ... and we all admit that we still feel 18. I guess being young at heart keeps us young.

It would be nice to find a gentleman who shares the same thirst and desire for a fun-filled life that I do. My desire is to find a gentleman who enjoys being pampered by me in every way and who would want to pamper me as well.

One of my hobbies is singing Karaoke ... in fact it's one of my favorite things to do, but I also enjoy dancing. I have been a Western Style Square Dancer for well over 35 years and also do cued ballroom dancing. Slow dancing at home is nice ... feel free to throw in a little "dip" at the end of the song followed by a nice long kiss.

I've been told I'm a good cook and the only way to find out is to try some of my cooking ... but you can't do that just sitting there reading this and not contacting me. During the course of my marriage, I lived in Germany for 10 years and did learn quite a bit about German cooking ... my mother-in-law (yes, she was German) was one of the best cooks in her town.

PS ... I love all animals ... well perhaps snakes and reptiles might be an exception ... but dogs are a favorite ... doesn't matter to me how many you might have. However, I am quite allergic to cats ... unfortunately, my love of an animal somehow just does not overpower the allergy element ... doggone it!

I am a registered Democrat ... and I am not religious. A good match for me would be a man who follows those philosophies as well.

**Update 10/11/09** My dear friend, we've made it through another year. October, being our most dreaded month will pass yet again and I am thankful you are here with me for this particularly difficult one. I'll be thinking of you, as we get through this together. Much love!! Another addendum: Ms. Cotter made it out to Colorado for Thanksgiving. My very first POF meeting with one of my most favorite people. We picked her up, she was here for 6 days and we did a whole lot of ~ well ~ nothing but talking, laughing, eating and me listening to her sing like the song-bird she is. Yes, Cotter is wonderous in so many ways . a gem and a treasure chest of talents and caring. She is way up there on the evolutionary ladder of love and understanding. She does not look down from the heights of love, but pulls others up with her wit, intelligence, humor, deep & natural wisdom, songs, dance, unbelievable good cooking, and charms galore. Though modest in not showing off her wisdom, she will also gently call a spade a spade, or subtly let someone know they are a being a big baby. She has a tool box with literally everything in it, and she knows how to build, makes flowers bloom in gardens, makes her own dance outfits, and keeps all her belongings in top shape. Cotter has taken family challenges and ( not seeing herself as religious ) has mixed joy and sorrow in the crucible of her lovely being and has grown to be of exemplary good character. She is ALL HEART..!! She's the cake & the frosting, and a walking/dancing, talking/singing, sharing of gifts to all. LOVE to her.

Well, I won't tell tales here, about how this lady and I met. Not in person mind ya, but her and another POFer...well, let's just say we had a lot of fun. She is such a fun person, a bit of a tease too! But she has a heart of gold. She's a good listener, caring, gentle yet firm.[I won't say where] haha! She is one strong lady with a tough side when needed. She doesn't take any crap either. Treat her right. A very fine catch for any man. Hey sweety, take care and stay well.

Cotter is another one of those woman of immense character who is always willing to help, willing to listen and offer up an enviable repertoire of admirable advice - I thank you for the wonderful words when they were most needed, for without them I certainly couldn't have kept a certain dream alive - live long and prosper amongst the 'gators :)
