I'm an avid hockey player, I don't get to play as nearly as much as I would like too. On top of playing I've recently started to referee hockey games to get involved in it more than as a player. I also enjoy reading, going out for a few drinks with friends, and being outdoors. I like to keep myself busy but I also enjoy the occasional day just hanging out doing much of nothing. I own a ton of DVDs of all different genres. I love to travel unfortunately I can’t afford to do it as much as I would like (who really can?). Seattle has to be my favorite place I have visited so far. Other than the occasional trip into Canada I have never been outside of the US and would love to take a trip to Europe (Greece particularly) sometime in the near future. RIght now I'm working in a position I had during grad school at ISU, but I am looking to move on to something else as soon as possible. Right now my goal is to stay in Central Illinois.

I usually to try avoid the simple dinner and drinks and calling it a night, don't get me wrong its a good place to start to get to know someone, but I like to try and do something that would be new to me or the person I'm seeing. I think that usually works out to be a great conversation starter for when you make it to dinner and drinks afterwards. Seeing as I like hockey, maybe take my date to a game or ice skating before we go to eat. Or I am open to try new things myself.
