I relocated to College Station in August 2008 for a career move. I'm not new to Texas as I've lived and been stationed all over the state, but not since the mid-90's. I'm an outgoing, athletic, content man with a great grasp on life and a firm foundation in reality. I love to smile and have a great time. I dislike the bar scene and the quality of people I meet when I do mingle in the general scene. I enjoy surrounding myself with great people.
I'm really seeking friends in the area and would love to meet those who enjoy great conversation, intellectual stimulation, and life exploration. I enjoy cooking and am very authentic.

My ideal meeting is a place where people can enjoy each other fully and enjoy the freedom to be themselves. I require honestly and open communication or there's no need to waste each other's time. Life is too full and busy to be less than real or spend time with people who aren't comfortable enough to know themselves or get to know others.
I choose my friends wisely and love to enjoy them whenever possible. If you're comfortable in your skin and would like to spend some time getting to know someone who can appreciate you for who you are, let's get together. I don't play games and I don't have time for those who do. I love life and enjoy spending time with like-minded people who feel the same way. I'm not shallow, but prefer people who are at least height/weight proportionate. I feel outward appearance often mirrors inward health so a well-kept physique can be indicative of inward emotional and spiritual health as well.
I don't believe in looking for a serious relationship because I think it's too easy to create something where it doesn't naturally exist if you're looking for it. Rather, as you meet someone and get to know them, you let the natural course of things unveil itself and enjoy the adventure. :)
My best friend and adventure partner recently moved out of state so I'm finding myself with too much alone time on my hands.

I like non-traditional encounters without the preconceived notions of how meeting someone of the opposite sex "must" be. Casual is good...we're trying to get to know each other and meet a friend, not impress someone.
