| | I'm 5'5, slim, brunette, good looking and very sexy (or that's what I think!). My pictures will prove my point. I'll send them if you ask. I know this is a priority to most guys, reason I started with. Getting this out of the way, I am funny, warm, caring, affectionate, sensual, honest, understanding and easy going (again, that's what my friends think..lol). I make the best lasagne and baklava in town? I really do. Deal is, I make, you taste.
My priority in life is family. I have 2 gorgeous girls (like Mama like daughters). Neither is living with me. One is married with 2 cuttie cats. Both are my best friends with lots of arguments in between fun, friendly time.
Then comes the best ever man in my life and the most favorite male I've ever known; my Dad. A 90 year old adorable guy who thinks the sun shines and sets by me and I'm God's gift to humanity. Now how can I resist his love??!!
On the friendship front, I have many friends, of both genders (guy buddies are easier to handle, though). Lots of laughs on this front.
I love travelling. My last trip took me to Europe, I visited 6 countries; i.e., Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France and England. And as beautiful as Paris might be, Toronto is still my favorite.
I wouldn't wish you to be perfect. Perfect is boring most of the time. So skip all that talk about being romantic, funny, intelligent, loves family, caring, understanding, honest, intellectual, will open the door for me (what happened to revolving doors)..etc.etc. Some reasonably fine qualities would do. Be whatever you want to be (within the normal human standards). Two things,I insist you must have though: 1) free weekends for me if we click (naturally, not all weekends) 2) COMMUNICATIVE. It ususally takes no less than two people to talk. You reply to my messages soon enough, you get me hooked & interested. Last but not least, you'll have to like me a little bit more than skiing, golfing, hockey, motorcycle riding and your guy friends. Not that I'll stand between you and any of the above. You want to watch the kickoff at the Super Bowl with the boys? That's fine and dandy with me. The challenge is in compromising and in making time since all of the above is usually done on your free time & weekends!!!!!

Who said first date must be for coffee? Bad idea! Reminds me of job interviews. Myself, I prefer some place with soft music and dance. For God's sake, how would you expect to find a spark over a cup of coffee??!!
FIRST UPDATE: After couple of months on POF, here is my take:
(1) Guys are soo taken up by looks (quite normal & understandable). I received 35 emails on the first couple of days. I had to take my pictures off profile and keep them on private image. Thank you for all the wonderful e-mails. I tried to answer them all, and in doing that, I probably missed some. My apologies.
(2) I'm still looking for the "romantic, communicative and likes me a 'little bit' more than hockey, golf, skiing..etc." Just a little bit. Not asking much here, huh? And not asking to be treated as a 'queen' as all those nice guys are telling me in their emails.
(3) Take this too. A guy who says he's romantic and communicative is expected to measure up to these qualities, right? And not only in the first couple of weeks.
(4) I can think of a few interesting occupations for a nice guy to keep his mouth engaged in. Conversation, though, comes on top of the list to most women, including myself.
(5) Take a look at this profile: “I am a guy with a very busy schedule but I don’t mind taking time to develop a relationship.” Gee, thank you!!
(6) Here is the tip of the first month: Relationships require work and compromise. Attraction and chemistry are not enough.
SECOND UPDATE: well, I still like the menfolk by the way. Now read this:
1)AAAAAAH...That was a deep sigh and not YET a scream...lol What is wrong with guys? Can a guy answer me pleease!! You talk about how great you are, committed and understanding and different from any other guy. Then talk about how you'll treat her well, hold hands, walk by the lake..blah..blah! Then we start chatting and you seem to be a totally different person from the one I read his profile! Question to all you guys on pof: Is there a guy somewhere here who writes your profiles? They all seem to be pretty much the same!!!
2) Guys on pof are 2 types: a) the goodlooking, athletic ones and (b) the otherwise. The first are - in the most - arrogant, rude, conceited, condescending, overbearing, and unmindful of people's feelings (pls don't get upset if you're one)!!! The otherwise are intelligent, knowledgeable, decent, caring, good conversationalists, down to earth, mindful of people's feelings and good communicators! No wonder Bill Gates is a business magnate & philanthropist!
3) If you want me beautiful, fit, athletic, intelligent, confident, funny, financially independent, dragging no baggage, sharing the same interests, looking good in jeans as in the little black dress, can skii, dance, play golf, ride a motocycle, sail, camp..etc..etc.. so why would I be still waiting for ya, handsome?! I should have been dating George clooney by now |
