I see that some of you check me out, rate me, favorite me, but freeze up if I reach out. I am fighting not to loose hope here. I need your help with that. This is my second time posting a profile here. I just gave up the 1st time after being here over a year and being stalked by crazy, possessive types; I fled this site like a bat out of hell. I need more substance in my life. I think most self summary's are the equivalent to meeting the person's representative , and is certainly going to be sensationalized and full of cliches like " I like long walks on the beach" LOL ...I know...I know, dating is like looking for a new job (going on dates these days tend to feel like job interviews...the second date means you are really being considered etc.) No I'm not jaded. I just see the humor in it all. I've been single for almost 3 years, I've learn to be patient with love these days. I have also learn to laugh at the irony that life shows me from time to time. I am very much the type to let stress roll off my shoulder because I rather be in search of the solution, than letting the problem itself kick my ass. Besides I believe love loves itself so I don't focus on fear. If I had to give you some bullet points they would look a little like this..Loves cooking gourmet meals, Is a creative person, Honest, Affectionate, faithful, Loves film, Good sense of humor...really I'm a goof, Is well traveled, open minded, a bit of a dork, Soft spoken, thoughtful, kind, a good listener, thinks relationships should be based on how people relate to each other, as well as logical progression. Meaning you should not be with someone just because you wish to fill a void in your life, really hates being lied to, usually dates older women to avoid the mind games played by younger women, would still date anyone legal age if they put the games aside, is a Neo Hippie, and a I'm a compassionate communitarian. I enjoy having a good time on the first date...nothing really set in stone. The activity varies between mood, and vibe of the other person. 1st dates are the simple dates...We could meet for desert, go to a free art opening and pretend to be art buyers, get a bottle of wine and head over to Smalls for a little live Jazz, go for a walk, or bike ride in a park, take a walk in a interesting part of the city...if your into watching sports, go for beers at a pub where they are showing a ball game, go somewhere we can dance, do something creative like painting or writing, or anything that is fun is cool in my book.
