Who am I? HHmmm—this will take some thought. I know me; just putting it into words can be a challenge. I’m eclectic. I love music, almost anything except rap or opera. Music floats me away into a world of joy.

I’d rather be at the beach listening to the music of the ocean than anywhere else on Earth. Even in bad weather, the beach calls to me.

I live in the woods near the Columbia River. I look out my window at trees and birds and deer, I listen to the frogs singing at night and look up at the stars and know that we do indeed have an awesome God.

I enjoy cerebral books, NFL football, and action movies. I’m a total goob for hearts, flowers and romance, but you can capture my heart by making me laugh until I can’t breathe.

I like fine dining, but I’m equally happy eating a hotdog on a blanket on the ground. I like to go out dressed to the nines, and I like to get grubby and go fishing and camping. I even tie my own lines and bait my own hooks. But mostly, home is where my heart is. June Cleaver is my hero. (I know, Gloria Steinem would be appalled!)


I can talk your ear off, but also sit and listen for hours if you need to talk. Or I can just be still and enjoy a quiet evening when nothing needs to be said. Sometimes those moments say the most, don't they?

A cup of good coffee or a small adventure; but the two are not mutually exclusive, are they?
